Sculptra falls under the category of dermal fillers. There are several FDA-approved dermal fillers available, but unlike other fillers that push up the space just below wrinkles and folds for immediate results, Sculptra stimulates collagen production.
Sculptra is injected into the skin. It contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) which acts as a collagen stimulator, helping to gradually restore fullness to facial wrinkles and folds. This results in a softer and more youthful appearance.
How It Works
An Important note about Sculptra Appointments
Sculptra is a very unique treatment! With each appointment, the treatment solution is specially made in an individual batch just for you. The process takes our clinic a number of days to complete. Appointments are only made in person and pre-paid at least 1 week in advance. If you are unable to make the appointment for any reason, the cost of the treatment is non-refundable.
